Annual Dinner
Three weeks to go until this years Annual Dinner at Dance, Saturday 24th November.
Mercure Maidstone (Great Danes), Ashford Road, Hollingbourne, ME17 1RE.
Three course dinner: (vegetarian option available please advise)
Starter - Freshly made carrot and coriander soup, crunchy croutons
Main - Roasted breast of chicken, smoked bacon, mushroom, sun-blushed tomato, red wine sauce served with potatoes and seasonal vegetablesDessert - Glazed lemon tart, raspberry salsa
Entertainment: DJ
Dress code: Black Tie
Everyone is welcome so please feel free to invite family and friends along. Tickets in advance only £35 each, please make cheques payable to MIRC, or transfer to sort code 403106, 71230964.

Now less than a month to go until this years Annual Dinner and Dance (Black Tie
event). Saturday 19th November, 6.30 for a 7.00 sit down.
Please email, phone or text if you and guests are interested in coming along,
everyone is welcome.
3 course dinner with entertainment for £35 a ticket. We also have some
fantastic raffle prizes this year including a signed copy of Sir Steve
Redgrave's book. All donations to the raffle welcome :-)

to MIRC or bank transfer to Maidstone Invicta, sort code 403106 account number
71230964 or alternatively give me the cash when you see me at the club.

MIRC Race Night
Following recent emails, just wanted to post info about the next MIRC social and Fundraiser....
When: Friday 11th June
When: Friday 11th June
Where: Aylesford Village Community Centre (ME20 7AU).
Time: Bar opens 7.30, tote opens 8.00 and first race approx. 8.15.
How it works: Bets are £1 per horse, a tape is then selected at random and played on the big screen for everyone to cheer on their horses! The cash from each race will be split between the winners and the club.
All ages and everyone welcome, would be great to see everyone from all squads, non rowers and friends and family etc.
There are opportunities for local businesses to sponsor a race for £25, sponsorship will secure advertising on the event posters (logos will need to be supplied) and a special mention/thank you by the compare on the night.
I have yet to finalise the food arrangements and ticket prices, it is likely to be jacket potatoes with a choice of filling(s), salad and nibbles etc. to keep the ticket prices down. Let me know your thoughts.
